Journeys Bookstore is an independent bookstore in Annandale.  We believe in the power of books to lead us to imagine, to urge us to discover new things and to encourage us to explore the world we live in.

We are located in a beautiful corner store in Annandale, built around 1890.  It's a perfect place for a bookstore, with polished floors, sash-windows and high ceilings lending character and warmth.  

Imagine is where you’ll find general fiction, prizewinners, children’s books and young adult fiction.

In Discover you'll find science fiction  & fantasy, crime, biographies, politics and current affairs, religion, philosophy, science, sport, essays, poetry, dictionaries, art, design, photography, gardening, health and parenting. 

And if you’re interested in the world around you, then Explore is the place for you. Explore is divided into seven regions - Africa, Asia, the Middle East, Europe, North America, South America and Oceania.  Each region has travel guides, travel literature, fiction, history, food and other non-fiction titles about each country in that part of the world.

We've been working hard to ensure a great selection of titles, but if we haven't got the book you're after we are very happy to order it for you. 

Our opening hours are below, except public holidays when we are open from 10am until 4pm.
